ANNOUNCING GTAChallenge.com

www.GTAChallenge.com</a> was established to fulfill the need for a GTA class specific information source.  One of the many goals of GTAChallenge is to provide continuity to the GTA class throughout the United States. Communication has been established with the formation of the GTA National Advisory Committee.
This committee has a representative from each area of the United States that currently supports the GTA class. This committee is dedicated to promoting GTA with the necessary organizational structure and rules to keep cost at a minimum and racing competition at a maximum. The committee is working with both the SCCA and NASA to promote the GTA class.

www.GTAChallenge.com</a> provides the GTA community with a forum message board which will be a resource of communication for current GTA racers as well as prospective GTA competitors across the country.  We welcome anyone with an interest in the GTA class into our discussions. Come on in, sit down and stay awhile….make yourself at home with us in the GTA
community.   

www.GTAChallenge.com</a> will also be providing advertising for businesses to market their products to our GTA community members and visitors. Our business partners'
contributions will directly support the GTA community.
 All funds, donations, or discounts will be used in the form of awards for competitors, hosting social gatherings, or promoting the future of GTA.

GTAChallenge will be the host website for the GTA National Tour. This National Series will be open to all GTA competitors and will encompass events in all of the GTA supporting regions. Competitors will count results in their best three weekends consisting of two races each in order to collect points towards becoming the 2009 GTA National Tour Champion.  The Historic and challenging racetracks of Texas Motor Speedway, Heartland Park Kansas, Sebring, Carolina Motorsports Park and Mid-Ohio will set the stage for the final stop at Road Atlanta.
 The largest event for the GTA National Tour Challenge will be the American Road Race of Champions presented by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine at Road Atlanta in November. The 2009 ARRC is expected to have 30+ GTA competitors all racing to win the respected title of ARRC Champion and it will possibly be the deciding race in determining the 2009 GTA National Tour Champion.  The GTA National Tour is currently accepting applications for a title sponsor, event sponsors, as well as advertising partners on

January 16, 2008:

The GTA national advisory committe announces the 2008 National Tour Series Championship.  This 5 race series will have each of the GTA regions hosting a National Tour event with the season finale at the 2008 A.R.R.C. presented by Grass Roots Motorsports at Road Atlanta in November.  Texas GTA will host the season opener at NASA Texas' April event at Texas World Speedway April 19-20.

Stretch Takes 2008 GTA National Championship

Texas GTA driver, Bob Stretch held on to the end to be Crowned 2008 GTA national Champion.  Texas GTA driver, Gregg Rodgers took a close 2nd and Ron "Burr" Keith was 3rd.  Watch these drivers in 2009.  The 2009 season is coming soon and should be an action packed season!
